Please beware the
allure of ‘free’ shipping offered by those producing crude imitations of
several of my designs.  My corbels are expertly handmade by much the same
methods of more than 100 years gone by – incorporating a level of craftsmanship
and attention to detail very obviously absent in the product of those who
imitate my designs while failing to duplicate the quality of my work.

corbels are made of material salvaged / reclaimed
from a
140+ year-old structure
.  Signs of the previous use
(including, but not limited to nail holes, small cracks and chips, stains, discoloration,
scrapes, scratches, tool marks, etc.) along with the naturally occurring
characteristics of wood may be randomly present and are intended to enhance the
character of the finished product.  Though the material was planed to
a uniform thickness and lightly sanded, small areas of the original sawmill
texture may remain.
Photos included in the listing are
intended to show the range of properties / variations in appearance one should
expect of 140-year-old, re-claimed material and may not be completely representative
of all man-made or naturally occurring characteristics present in every
finished corbel.
